WE WILL NEVER FORGET.

Today, Rincon Fire Department pauses to remember the lives lost on September 11, 2001, and to honor the extraordinary courage of the first responders who ran toward danger when others were running away.

We remember the 343 FDNY firefighters who made the ultimate sacrifice, along with the law enforcement officers, EMS personnel, military members, and civilians whose lives were forever changed that day.

Twenty-five years later, their courage, sacrifice, and service remain etched in our hearts.

We remember. We honor. We will never forget.

🎆 **Fireworks Safety Starts With You!** 🎆

As you celebrate Independence Day, the Rincon Fire Department wants everyone to have a safe and enjoyable holiday.

Remember these important safety tips:
• Keep a bucket of water or a hose nearby.
• Never allow young children to handle fireworks.
• Light one firework at a time and move away quickly.
• Never relight a firework that didn't go off.
• Keep spectators at a safe distance.
• Fully soak used fireworks before throwing them away.

The safest way to enjoy fireworks is by attending a professional display.
