We have just been made aware that the Postal Service picks up mail in the mornings only to go to the main distribution plant in Shreverport. Mail pickup used to be 3:30-4:00 in the afternoons headed to Shreveport, but this was changed sometime in July. So, if you put a letter in your mailbox in the morning it will set at your local post office until the following day, get picked up that morning going to Shreveport, and Shreveport will send it out in the following day or two.
The water system does offer customers to receive their bills via email and they offer monthly drafting, accounts are drafted on the 10th of each month for those who choose that option.
I just wanted everyone to know this information as I too have been frustrated and wondering what's been going with mailing and receiving our mail in a timely manner.

ok water is back on at Rowell Road

This is on our North Well. Rowell Road will be without water because fiber optic hit our line. We will get it back on as soon as we assess what we will need to repair the line. If we don’t have the part our maintenance man will have to fix it after he gets off from his regular job.

Boil Advisory has been lifted; sample cleared.

North Well will be shut down to repair 8” line close to the well. Will get it back up running as fast as we can. Boil water when it comes back on until we get released from Health Department.

Boil Advisory!!!

Customer's on Highway 4, East of Springhill Ch. Rd., Tom Wood Rd., and Highway 790 off of Highway 4 will be under a boil advisory until samples are taken at the beginning of next week. Sorry, the labs are closed on Friday's. We will make a post as soon as the results are received on Tuesday.
