What a Spooktacular time at our Starr County 4-H Clover event, "Barnyard Boos!" at our local Tractor Supply! 👻
Texas A&M AgriLife Extension had a great time spending the evening with our amazing 4-H Clover Kids and their parents! Our little Clovers learned safety tips from the Starr County Sheriff's Office and enjoyed festive snacks, fun crafts, and took home their very own pumpkin! 🎃
A HUGE thank-you to the Starr County Sheriff's Office for the awesome safety presentation and to Tractor Supply for welcoming us into your store and for your generosity and continued support of our youth and community!
We're so grateful for community partners who help make learning fun and memorable for our youngest 4-H members!

Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Family & Community Health was honored to participate in Starr County's 5th Annual Alzheimer's Event & Walk alongside our amazing Healthy Texas Youth Ambassadors!

Through Healthy South Texas initiatives, we promoted the importance of mental health awareness and physical activity, encouraging community members to stay active and engaged for overall well-being.

Our Healthy Texas Youth Ambassadors truly shined as they energized attendees and wrapped up the event with a fun and interactive DanceFit session that brought the community together through movement, dance, and wellness.

Thank you to everyone who joined us in supporting Alzheimer's awareness and healthy living. Together, we can build stronger, healthier communities!

On behalf of Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service - Family & Community Health, I would like to extend my sincere appreciation to the Starr County Wellness Program for their partnership and support of our Healthy South Texas Initiative's Starr Strong: Work Well. Live Well. event held at the Starr County Courthouse Annex.

A heartfelt thank you to Texas A&M Health for bringing their mobile unit to our community and providing valuable services, including their medication assistance program and diabetes education resources. Your commitment to improving the health and well-being of our residents is truly making a difference.

We also thank the South Texas Family Planning & Health Corporation Medical Support Squad for offering essential health screenings and preventive services to attendees.

A special shoutout goes to our amazing Healthy Texas Youth Ambassadors for sharing presentations on a variety of health and wellness topics. Your leadership, dedication, and passion for serving others continue to inspire our community and demonstrate the positive impact youth can make.

Together, through collaboration and community partnerships, we are building a healthier and stronger Starr County. Thank you to everyone who participated and helped make this event a success!
