We are just one week away from our upcoming Move on When Reading (MOWR) informational meeting for our 3rd-grade families!
Partnering together is the best way to help your child grow as a confident, strong reader. Join us to learn more about Arizona's literacy requirements, how we support students in the classroom, and ways you can help at home.

Get ready! Our annual Red Ribbon Assembly is just around the corner (October 19, 2026). This year, we are coming together as a school community to celebrate making healthy, safe, and drug-free choices.
🎉 What to Expect:
• Inspiring guest speakers and interactive school spirit activities.
• Taking our collective pledge to keep our minds and bodies healthy.
Show your support by wearing a wear RED shirt (school appropriate with uniform bottoms) the day of the assembly!

¿Tienes algún cambio suelto? ¡Vamos a convertirlo en una cena de Acción de Gracias! 🦃🧡
¡Hola, familias! La "Guerra de Monedas" de Calabasas (Calabasas Coin War) está oficialmente en marcha desde el lunes 19 de octubre hasta el 6 de noviembre, y necesitamos su ayuda para asegurarnos de que cada mesa en nuestra comunidad esté llena este Día de Acción de Gracias.
Una vez que termine la competencia, todas las escuelas del distrito uniremos lo recaudado para comprar certificados de regalo de $50 para el Día de Acción de Gracias directamente en Garrett’s IGA. Mostremos a nuestros hijos cómo un poco de cambio de bolsillo puede tener un impacto masivo en nuestra comunidad. ¡Muchísimas gracias por su generosidad, su espíritu competitivo y por apoyar siempre a nuestros vecinos!

Got loose change? Let’s turn it into Thanksgiving dinner! 🦃🧡
Hey families! The Calabasas Coin War is officially on from Monday, October 19th through November 6th, and we need your help to make sure every table in our community is full this Thanksgiving.
Once the war wraps up, all the district schools will pool our stash to buy $50 Thanksgiving gift certificates right here at Garrett’s IGA. Let’s show our kids how a little bit of pocket change can make a massive local impact. Thank you so much for your generosity, your competitive spirit, and for always stepping up for our neighbors!

We have moved all lost and found items directly to the basketball courts so it is easy for you to browse while you are here. If your student is missing a jacket, water bottle, lunchbox, or other gear, this is the perfect place to look and claim their belongings.
Please take a few minutes to walk by and check before you leave!

Family Conferences are starting today and will continue tomorrow and Thursday (October 6-8). This is such a lovely chance for us to sit down together, talk about your child’s progress, celebrate their growth, and partner in supporting them for a wonderful year ahead.
