Members of the Jackson County Democratic Executive Committee and the Jackson County Democratic Women's Club, along with other Jackson County Democrats met at the Ripley Library last night to text messages to our neighbors reminding them of the upcoming election. Additional Democrats throughout Jackson County joined in the efforts from their homes as well.

A huge thank you to everyone who volunteered to help with these efforts!

I despise asking for money for myself, but while I'm the one running for office, this campaign is about Jackson Countians.

While people-powered grassroots campaigns can run on very little money, we do still need a little bit.

Information for prospective voters in house district 16 (Jackson County)

Issues I am for:

- repeal “right to work”
- reinstate prevailing wage on tax funded projects
- protect public education
- restore local control to counties/ communities
- preventing legislators from profiting from the policies they enact.

Issues I am against:

- privatization of dept. of highways
- nuclear waste storage
- Hope scholarship fraud, waste and abuse

BIG change needs to happen, nothing will change unless you come out and vote for it.
