The Ripon Public Library strives to effectively provide materials to service the informational, recreational and educational needs of the community.

‼ Winnefox Library Catalog, Winnefox Mobile App, and Libby App Service Outage Alert!

➡ Next Tuesday, October 13, these services will be unavailable for a scheduled upgrade.

⚠️ Due to the outage, material will not be allowed to check out unless a physical library card is present at time of checkout.

✅ Libraries 𝐰𝐢𝐥𝐥 be open, and you can still browse and check out items at your library’s service desk—just bring your library card! You will be able to read and listen to titles already downloaded to your Libby app.

❎ You 𝐰𝐨𝐧'𝐭 be able to place holds, pay fines, or access your account online or in the app. You probably won’t be able to download new titles, or place holds, in Libby and the Wisconsin Digital Library.

📝 The American Library Association documented 487 attempts to censor books at libraries, schools, and universities in 2025. The reasons most commonly cited for censorship were false claims of obscenity; inclusion of diverse representation; and presenting political or religious views.

🌠 How does your library card help you reach for the stars?

📸 This is your invitation to share your story about how access to free educational resources, community spaces, and enriching events have broadened your horizons or brought a smile to your face!

🌎 Visit Ripon Public Library’s front desk to get your picture taken with a card so big it practically has its own gravitational pull! Take your own photos with your device to show off to your friends or ask staff to take a picture that we’ll share online! We’ll post as many pictures as we can to prove our library users are out of this world!

🌌 Why do we have one of the largest library cards at this end of the Milky Way? Because Library Card Sign-Up Month only happens once in a blue moon, and we want to celebrate everyone who uses the library! (Plus, it’s fun!)

🚀 It’s not rocket science—the sky’s the limit when you have your library card, and there's always space for you at the library!
