Earlier this week, Mrs. Yoder had the opportunity to take four ACTIVO student-athletes to InSideOut, a student leadership seminar at Lambeau Field. Kelsey, Brena, Jack and Cass spent time with students from other schools across the state discussing why they lead and how they lead those around them. These Ripon Tigers had the opportunity to build their personal purpose statements and chat about building team culture. Great work by all!

Last night, the Ripon Middle School 6th Grade Team welcomed 27 families to Donuts with Grown-Ups! Families enjoyed donuts and participated in a fun scavenger hunt that gave our newest middle schoolers the chance to show their grown-ups what a typical day looks like at school.

From sharing daily routines to exploring their school day together, the evening was filled with smiles and special moments. Parents and guardians enjoyed getting a glimpse into their sixth grader’s daily life at school!

Thank you to all the families who joined us and helped make this event such a success!

Ripon High School Science Club students are making a difference through the Water Action Volunteers (WAV) Program, monitoring the health of local streams. Recently, students collected scientific data, measuring water temperature, dissolved oxygen, stream velocity on Silver Creek. Through this program, RHS students also have the opportunity to study aquatic organisms and look for invasive species to help assess stream health.

Ripon High School has contributed stream monitoring data for more than 10 years. Their findings are shared online to help researchers, the Wisconsin DNR, and others better understand and protect our waterways.

Mr. Brad Roost’s Ripon High School Earth Science students recently spent two days at the Green Lake Association’s Lake Class at Daycholah Center. While visiting, students gained hands-on experience exploring lake ecology, investigating water quality, and learning about the science behind keeping our lakes healthy.

Thank-you to retired RHS teacher Don Bogdanske and the Green Lake Association for providing another fantastic learning opportunity for our students!

Ripon High School 2D Design students in Miss Chiavetta’s class recently practiced the drawing technique of gridding, which helps artists achieve proper proportions and accuracy in their artwork.

Students then had the opportunity to choose their own reference images and begin creating their original artwork using the technique they practiced.

The progress is already amazing! We can’t wait to see these pieces come together!
