SSG Bramwell and SSG Velazquez prepared a French toast breakfast to the soldiers of the 304th and provided a well needed morale boost. Thank you, sergeants. The breakfast was well received by the soldiers who enjoyed a delicious breakfast at the unit. Hoah!

On Sunday, July 14, the 304 Sustainment Brigade (304 SBDE) hosted an invigorating Building Strong and Ready Teams (BSRT) Alpha event in Riverside, CA. With 135 soldiers in attendance, the event was a powerful demonstration of the Army's commitment to enhancing spiritual readiness and resilience among its ranks. Led by CH (1LT) Jason Ronda and assisted by CH (MAJ) Michael Morales, 2LT Joson Wong, and SGT Rudy Landaverde, the day was anchored around Stephen Covey's transformative curriculum, "The Seven Habits of Highly Effective People."

The soldiers were not just passive participants; they engaged actively in sessions designed to fortify their leadership skills and personal resilience. Each soldier received a copy of Covey's book, ensuring that the day's lessons would extend far beyond the event itself. The thoughtful provision of lunch before the sessions began emphasizing the Army's holistic approach to caring for its soldiers.

The event's structure was meticulously planned, focusing on diverse needs. Whether single, married, or part of a family with a deployed member, the BSRT program's inclusive design caters to everyone. This inclusivity underscores the Army's understanding that strong personal relationships and family bonds are pivotal to maintaining a ready and resilient fighting force.

Research consistently highlights that healthy marriages and strong family connections are critical in reducing stress and enhancing readiness. The BSRT program effectively integrates faith-based and secular relationship-building strategies, providing a robust framework for soldiers to cultivate lasting, loving relationships. By participating in these events, soldiers bolster their personal lives and enhance their effectiveness and cohesion as a unit.

In summary, the BSRT Alpha event in Riverside was more than just a day of training; it was a testament to the Army's dedication to its soldiers' holistic well-being. The funds allocated to these programs are clearly being used to foster a more resilient, effective, and spiritually ready force.

Today, we had our change of command. CPT Ferrer had his last B.A with the 304th SBDE, and we welcome CPT Bustamante as our new Company Commander. Additionally, SGT Clemente and SGT Greenstreet were promoted to SSG. Congratulations to both of them. Awards, medals, and coins were also awarded today.
