We hosted a very special tour of our Child and Family Resource Center with around 30 bilingual parishioners from two Catholic Churches in the Coachella Valley- Sacred Heart Parish and St. Francis. We were so excited to give this tour and were encouraged by the response! They are already sharing our good work and mission with family, friends, their ministries and even employers. Please pray for this growth to continue so that we can serve many more families and children. We are excited to see how God shows up and uses these churches to help children and families!
We would love to give your church or business a tour of our new center! Leave a comment below and we'll be in touch! 😊

A special thank you to the women of Sacred Heart Parish and their ministry of Mujeres Bendecidas para ser Bendición! This amazing group of women came together and donated their time, talent and treasures to create 48 beautiful Easter baskets for our youth and teens in the Coachella Valley. We can't thank you enough for the beautiful baskets you created!

Since the time they began fostering with us in 2021, the Reid family have fostered six of our kiddos. During their journey, they adopted Cassidy and were ready to take a break when they found out that she had a biological sister. When asked if they would like to take her as well they couldn't say no!
We are happy to announce that the adoption is finalized and these two sisters will get to grow up next to each other with parents who will champion them all the way! Please join us in celebrating this wonderful family! 🥳🎉🥰

Meet Caleb and Peter, two resilient 10-year-old twins who found stability and support through Olive Crest when their parents found themselves navigating the harsh realities of homelessness. As Caleb and Peter’s parents worked towards rebuilding their lives, the twins flourished in a nurturing environment through a volunteer host family. Once housing was secured, Caleb and Peter were reunited with their parents where they will continue to thrive.
Today, you can join Kids at Heart as a monthly sustainer, to help more stories like Celeb and Peter's unfold. Your support can make a lasting impact. Click this link to make a difference today: https://give.olivecrest.org/give/555991/ #!/donation/checkout

Baby Ana tested positive for drugs at birth.
Born prematurely, she was intubated and admitted into the NICU, immediately following delivery. When she was ready to be discharged, medical professionals and family members worried that the mother would continue using substances, placing Ana at further risk of harm, injury, or death.
After being diagnosed as medically fragile, Baby Ana was placed in one of our Special Health Care Needs foster homes. Her foster mom is a nurse by profession and the entire family already had experience caring for their other adopted daughter’s special medical needs.
Baby Ana is making tremendous progress as the family dotes on her and provides the extra tender loving care she needs medically, emotionally, and developmentally.
If you are interested in becoming a foster parent and loving on children and youth who are in need of a safe home, please send us a message. We'd love to share more with you!

We're so honored to be part of these stories!
Because of the amazing families who are willing to open up their homes, 23 children found their forever home in 2023. These children will grow up in a strong family who loves and cares for them. Now that's something worth celebrating!! 🎉

When we look back on this year we can't help but be grateful!
Even when hard times come our community stands together to fill every need. Our families are doing the hard work to better themselves. Businesses and churches are banding together to support families who are in crisis.
As we step into this new year we are excited to see the lives that will be changed through the work that we do together!

"Sarah" was placed with one of our foster families due to the medical neglect and physical abuse she had experienced. At only 3 years-old she had faced a lot of hardship that most us couldn't even comprehend. Because of this, she had lost her ability to walk and had very limited verbal skills.
After only 7 months of being with our foster family, her body and overall health has rebounded! Sarah's not only walking, she's running, hopping, and learning to kick a ball. Her ability to express herself has improved and she now uses her imagination while playing!
