Thank you to everyone who attended and supported the 2015 Rhythm of Riverside Summer Concert Series! We will see you next year!

Don't miss the grand finale of the 2015 Riverside Sings Competition this evening at the Rhythm of Riverside Concert Series. Travel back in time tonight at the final Fairmount Park concert featuring 80's Pop band Neon Nation.

Riverside Sings participants competition for the title of champion this evening include:

Youth participants: Sara Mislang (70801), Isaac Vargas (70807), Nick Sypherd (70808), and Kylie Trout (70853).

Adult participants: Ana Dorca (68198), Gabriel Garcia (68304), Maryssa Evens (70872), LaVania Shepard (70878) and Floyd Milner (70883).

Don't want the concert series to end? Keep the rhythm alive next week as Villegas Park hosts the End of Summer Concert Wednesday, August 5. The final concert will feature the Latin old school funk sounds of the Original Sacrifice Band.

The Riverside Sports Commission is extremely pleased to announce that Riverside will play an active role in the days leading up to the Special Olympics World Games Los Angeles 2015, the largest humanitarian and athletic event to take place in LA since the 1984 Olympics.

As a Host Town, Riverside will welcome Sweden's delegation – which will include approximately 100 athletes, trainers and coaches - for a three day Riverside experience prior to their departure to Los Angeles to compete in the World Games. To add to the excitement, Riverside recently learned that the entire team of Special Olympics USA (consisting of 500 athletes, coaches and trainers) will be gathering in our community as they prepare for the Games and will be joining The Rhythm of Riverside Summer Concert Series for a picnic on July 22!

Rock out to the classics tonight as Classic Rock tribute band Southbound take the stage at the Rhythm of Riverside Concert Series July 22.

Activities begin at 6 p.m. with performances by Riverside Sings youth contestants Daniel Martinez & Kylie Trout. Adult contestants Hailey Turner and Floyd Milner.

The Rhythm of Riverside Concert Series offers activities for the entire family. In addition to enjoying one of Riverside's most popular parks, the event also brings live entertainment and food vendors to Fairmount Park. Fairmount Park is located at 2601 Fairmount Blvd.

This Lynyrd Skynyrd tribute band will rock the stage at Fairmount Park and will open the doors for Riverside Sings contestants Daniel Martinez & Kylie Trout (Youth) and Hailey Turner & Floyd Milner (Adult).

Happy Independence Day! Enjoy the free aerial fireworks show this evening at La Sierra Park and Mt. Rubidoux. The 4th of July Spectacular show will begin promptly at 9 p.m. and will be in sync with the KOLA 99.9 broadcast.
