Today, we pause to honor and remember the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice while serving our country. Their courage, dedication, and selflessness have protected the freedoms we enjoy every day.
As we spend time with family, friends, and our community this Memorial Day, we are reminded that this day is more than a holiday, it is a time of reflection and gratitude for those who gave everything for our nation.
From all of us at Jurupa Valley Adopt A Family, we extend our deepest appreciation to our fallen heroes and their families. Your sacrifice will never be forgotten.
May we continue to honor their legacy through kindness, service, and strengthening the community around us.

The Jurupa Valley Adopt A Family was honored to be Assembly woman Leticia Castillo’s, non profit of the year for 2026. Our Chairman Jennifer Pellegrin-Perez and Vice Chairman Raymond Perez were able to celebrate with numerous other California Non Profits as they were honored as Non Profits of the year from their local assembly and senate offices in Sacramento this afternoon. We are humbled that our work does not go unseen and look forward to continuing our work in the community. We have been working behind the scenes on new ways to support our community and can’t wait to share after details are finalized. , , ,

Sending some extra love and appreciation to those women who raised us and made childhood an adventure. Happy Mother’s Day to all those women who have ever taken care of a child like it was your own. You may not hear it often but we appreciate you and your love more than you know.

Last night, Jurupa Valley Adopt a Family had the honor of attending the Phenix Gateway Gala Phenix Gateway continues to make a powerful impact by empowering individuals with disabilities through job training, advocacy, and promoting equal opportunities for all.
We were moved by a meaningful speech from Jose Medina, and especially touched by a heartfelt story shared by the parent of a deaf young man whose life was changed through the support of Phenix Gateway. Moments like these remind us why this work matters so deeply.
We are also incredibly proud to share that Phenix Gateway was founded by Angel Sanchez, who is also the founder of Jurupa Valley Adopt a Family. His vision and dedication to uplifting our community continue to create lasting change across so many lives.
Thank you to Phenix Gateway for an unforgettable evening and for all that you do to build a more inclusive future.
