Our Field Representative Anne Larsen was a guest speaker tonight as part of Ignite at UCR’s at UC Riverside! She shared her background and experience both as a staffer in our State Assembly district office and on local campaigns. Anne is a great public servant and a better role model for women looking to get into politics and public service!

Meet our new Fundraising Director: Brenda Molina is from Whittier, CA and works at the local Denny’s at the UV. She is a 3rd year Sociology major. “After UCR I want to pursue Law School, right now I am leaning towards criminal law but have not fully decided. I have a great passion for politics and although I may not run for office one day I want to be able to help other women pursue their dreams!”

Meet our board: (Treasure). Brenda Valencia is pursuing a bachelors degree at the University of California, Riverside. With a major in Global Studies and a minor in Sociology, she aspires to one day become a voice for immigrants children by working for the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services. Brenda is an advocate for social justice and believes women can offer different perspectives to social issues and that these issues could be better addressed by government if women were in these elected positions. Through IGNITE, Brenda hopes to help push for female representation in governmental leadership roles.

Meet our Board: (External VP) — Francis Gomez is going to be 3rd year political science pre med major. She wants to go to medical school, but is very passionate about politics and hopes to someday run for office!
