A Deaf professional who takes care of mobile phone customers and also sells new devices will be in town soon. He says:

ISO an overnight and daily live-in companion w/ yard-keeping skills for an assisted living home in Riverside (rent-free to the right candidate). All staff, caregivers, residents & companions communicate primarily in ASL. This is good for a responsible and mature person who also can help out around the house.

Dark Leafy Greens such as Collard, Kale, Mustard Greens, Spinach, Chard are very important. They help with vision and help reduce constipation. Look on the internet for the many cooking videos about those Dark Leafy Greens.

Drinking water in the wintertime helps reduce dry skin, increases resistance to bacteria & viruses, improves chances for general wellbeing. Drink as much as you did during the hot summers. Caffeine from coffee, teas and chocolate is a diuretic and makes your body lose water. Be careful please. Reduce or stop your caffeine, increase your water, see your dry skin improve and experience the other good benefits :)

Staff Worker/Caregiver at an elderly care home for the adult Deaf in Riverside California. (4 day, 1:30 PM to 9:30 PM shifts available)
Substitute work opportunities for extra income. Growth opportunity: Administrative (Manager).

General duties are as follows but not limited to:
Assisting elderly residents with their Activities of Daily Living,
including bathing, dressing, eating, toileting, hygiene, mobility, escorting to meals, cooking/meal serving, personal laundry.
Ordering refills of medication.
Bringing residents to appointments.
Understanding what doctors say and instructions.
Facilitating communications with doctors.
Preparing & handing out medicine.
Develop, arrange & start activities.
Caregiving for the residents.
Communicating and confirming with other staff on updates/changes.
Housekeeping/cleaning.
Planning menus and food shopping.
Watering plants inside & outside. Yardwork.

Requirements: Be able to communicate in Sign Language to residents who primarily communicate this way. Be at least 18 years old, complete 40 hours of online certification courses within 2 weeks of hire (or before start date). Additional 20 hours of hands-on training. Have own transportation and pass a fingerprint/criminal background check.
