Riverside County Code Enforcement has been made aware of a flyer circulating regarding a reported power service interruption near Palm Desert.

Riverside County Planning and Riverside County Code Enforcement have confirmed that they did not create, issue, or distribute the flyer. The document is not an official Riverside County notice and does not include official County branding or departmental identification.

Code Enforcement became aware of the flyer after receiving inquiries from residents and members of the media. Because the flyer was not issued by Riverside County, we are unable to verify the information it contains or speak to its accuracy or authenticity. The County is also not aware of any plans for a data center in this area.

Due to unexpected maintenance on the 3rd Floor of the County Administrative Building, visitors may notice a temporary change in service locations today. Customers who would normally visit the 3rd Floor will be assisted on the 12th Floor of the County Administrative Building while repairs are completed.

We appreciate your patience and understanding as we address this issue and work to restore normal operations as quickly as possible.

Project TEAM students stopped by Riverside County Code Enforcement today and showed off the real world skills they’re building in Riverside USD’s Adult Transition Program!
This program supports young adults ages 18-22 as they gear up for post secondary life through vocational training and independent living skills. They’re leveling up through Project Grille, where they plan budgets, earn food handler certifications, and sharpen their kitchen skills — plus PT Café, where they learn barista basics. Today they helped serve Code Enforcement with total professionalism, and we’re excited for the future when our fully permitted kitchen will let them serve meals made right in the classroom.

Our Code Enforcement team was hard at work during the Anza Tire Collection Event on October 11, helping residents properly dispose of 734 waste tires and keeping our community clean.
