A component of the Defense Media Activity created to amplify and market the messages of customers and clients within the Department of Defense.
DOD News West is located in Riverside, CA. The team is responsible for news coverage " West of the Rockies." DOD News West supports the Secretary of Defense and combatant commanders. The team employs a satellite truck to live stream events for the defense.gov website. Other products include multimedia video and image presentations. Producers are active duty Sailors who are trained in all disciplines of event and news coverage.

It was an honor for our team to interview the last Marine who left South Vietnam on April 30, 1975 during the Fall of Saigon. His story will be streamed live from Riverside National Cemetery on the Memorial Day.

For those asking, the original Music Therapy video was posted with MONO audio. This one has Stereo. There is no other difference. However, Facebook does not allow us to swap out the videos, so we had to make a new post. Hopefully this remedies the issue and will work to not make this mistake in the future. -VR MC1 Hale
