This past week, RSO Bomb Techs have been covering San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department's area of responsibility (AOR) as they were experiencing short staffing. Their huge area includes not only San Bernardino County (largest in the U.S.) but Inyo and Mono Counties as well. RSO Bomb Techs responded to Barstow and Redlands for found gr***de calls for service. Both items were inert and further investigation is pending by both respective cities.

As we celebrate this holiday weekend, it's essential to keep in mind that emergency services are there to respond to genuine emergencies. Calling 911 to report fireworks may divert valuable resources and hinder their ability to respond promptly to life-threatening situations.
Please use the link provided below to report fireworks. By doing so, we can help ensure that emergency services can focus on saving lives and protecting communities when it matters most.
