Although Hispanic Heritage Month has officially come to a close, the celebration and recognition of Hispanic culture and contributions continue throughout the year. In honor of this past month, Dr. Bojorquez shares a personal message reflecting on the history, significance, and enduring impact of Hispanic heritage.

Kicking off our new “Faculty Feature” series by introducing Dr. Ed Garrett from our Division of Psychology! We are so excited for this new series, which will highlight and introduce our incredible faculty within the CBSS. 💙💛

On Tuesday, we had the privilege of celebrating three of our professors who completed their doctorates! Congratulations Dr. Adrienne Knabb, Dr. Emilio R. Bermejo, and Dr. Froylana Heredia-Miller on this major accomplishment. We are so proud of you! 🎉

Our CBSS Dean and Associate Deans had a wonderful night at the Olive Crest 5th Annual Southern Nights Event! While there, they had the opportunity to provide support to our community partners as they raise funds and awareness to support critical services for children and families in crisis throughout Riverside and San Bernardino counties.

Join us as we travel to Iceland and immerse ourselves in a two-week fieldwork experience. We will be studying how the environment shapes culture and culture shapes the environment. The practicum will provide you with an opportunity to study in a land of hot springs, waterfalls, geysers, and volcanoes.
