This morning, I was proud to join the California School for the Deaf, Riverside for a ribbon-cutting ceremony celebrating its recognition as a Blue Zones Project Approved school.

This milestone reflects CSDR’s commitment to supporting the well-being of students, staff, and families through healthier environments and meaningful connection.

Another successful landing for our Aerospace Community Expo. ✈️

With over 2,000 attendees, it was great to see the community come out and experience aviation up close through interactive exhibits, industry connections, and hands-on opportunities that showcased the many pathways into aerospace and advanced manufacturing.

Special shoutout to the Commemorative Air Force Inland Empire Wing for hosting us in their hangar and helping bring this event to life.

This morning at the Riverside Airport Terminal, we had a fun and creative way to celebrate Earth Day bringing the community together over plants, sustainability, and a little friendly competition. Winners even took home plants from each round.

Thank you to the Riverside Airport Café, Riverside Airport staff, and the City’s Office of Sustainability for putting this together.

Reminder: the Aerospace Expo is now set for Saturday, April 25.

Join us at the Riverside Airport from 9 AM to 12 PM to explore aircraft up close, check out interactive exhibits, and connect with local aerospace companies and education partners.
