The YWCA will be accepting applications for the Brown Family Scholarship Fund through March 30, 2015. Apply today at http://www.ywcarivco.org/brown-family-scholarship-fund.

Started by former City of Riverside Mayor Ab Brown in 1990, in conjunction with our annual Men Who Cook fundraiser, the Brown Family Scholarship Fund provides financial assistance to female high school students during their pursuit of higher education.

The YWCA awards a minimum of three (3) scholarships of $500 or more on an annual basis; the number of scholarships and the funding awarded is dependent upon donations received in support of the Fund. Each year, a portion of the proceeds raised at the Men Who Cook fundraiser are directly earmarked for Brown Family Scholarships for the following funding year.
