Looff, one of the earliest and foremost carousel designers. The Crescent Park Carousel is nationally recognized as a true masterpiece of wood sculpture. Originally built as a showcase for prospective buyers, it is the largest and most elaborate of Looff's works. The Carousel contains 62 beautifully hand carved figures and four fanciful chariots. Overall richness of effect was Looff's trademark and the Crescent Park Carousel gives full interpretation to that spirit. Elaborate embellishments of decorative panels, beveled mirrors, faceted glass jewels, electric lights, colored sandwich glass windows and its original band organ music surround flying steeds to create Looff's "Total Carousel Experience." Saved in the 1970's by a handful of residents, the Crescent Park Carousel was placed on the National Register of Historic sites and places in 1976. In 1985, the Rhode Island General Assembly proclaimed the Carousel as the State Jewel of American Folk Art and in 1987, the Department of the Interior, National Park Service, designated the Carousel as a National Historic Landmark. Mark your calendars for Saturday, October 3rd and join us at Crescent Park for one of the biggest and most fun-filled days of the fall!
🍂 11 AM – 4 PM

🎃 FREE Pumpkin Decorating — while supplies last!

🍬 FREE Trunk or Treat — costumes are completely optional!

🧙‍♀️ New England Witch’s Guild — performing at 12 Noon

🎠 And of course… the Historic Crescent Park Carousel will be OPEN from 12–5 PM!

Whether you're coming to decorate a pumpkin, grab some lunch, do a little shopping, enjoy the entertainment, or take a spin on the carousel, there will be plenty to see and do!

👻 And remember — costumes are NOT required for Trunk or Treat. We want everyone to feel welcome and included!

We're pretty lucky to have Joe's Clam Shack right here at Crescent Park — and we're even luckier that they're joining us for our 12th Annual Food & W**e Pairing with Silent Auction!

Located right here at 684 Bullocks Point Avenue in Riverside, Joe's Clam Shack brings a little taste of classic Rhode Island summer to Crescent Park, and we're thrilled to have them joining us for this very special evening. 🌊🦪

And while they may be right next door, their contribution is anything but small.

Like all of our participating restaurants, Joe's is generously donating their food, their time, their staff and their effort to help make this fundraiser special.

They don't have to do it.

They choose to do it because they believe in our community and in preserving the magic of the Carousel. ❤️🎠

Pat Lowell is a lifelong Riverside resident, and for us, that makes having him be part of this evening even more special.

Because this isn't just an event happening at the Carousel.

Pat has been sharing his music with audiences for more than 20 years, bringing an acoustic sound that spans rock, blues, reggae, oldies, Top 40, alternative and original music.

And for nearly as long as we've been holding this special event, Phil Gasbarro Liquors Phil Gasbarro Liquors has been there to make sure the w**e is every bit as spectacular as the food.

Located at 618 Warren Avenue in East Providence, Phil Gasbarro Liquors is a family-owned business that has been part of the community since 1962. For generations, the Gasbarro family has built their business around family, community and giving back — and the Carousel has been fortunate enough to be one of the organizations they continue to support. ❤️🎠

Nicole Gasbarro. ❤️

Year after year, Nicole works behind the scenes to coordinate with the w**e distributors who participate in our event. She brings together 10+ distributors, each selecting and providing w**es specifically to complement the incredible food our participating restaurants prepare.

Multiple food pairings.
Countless bottles.
And an incredible amount of coordination behind the scenes.

We're excited to welcome Yama Fuji II to our 12th Annual Food & W**e Pairing with Silent Auction! ❤️

Located right here in Riverside at 1086 Willett Avenue, Unit 5, Yama Fuji II brings Japanese and Asian-inspired flavors to our community, with everything from fresh sushi and sashimi to hibachi and other Asian favorites. 🍣🥢

And on September 24, they're bringing their culinary talents to the Historic Crescent Park Looff Carousel! 🎠

We are so excited to have them at the table.

But we also want you to know what their participation really means.

Our restaurant partners aren't paid to participate in this event.
