This morning, my colleagues and I were proud to recognize June as Fatherhood Awareness Month in Riverside County.

Fathers and father figures play an important role in their children's lives, providing guidance, support, and stability that help families and communities thrive. We also recognize the valuable work of Riverside County Department of Child Support Services, whose programs and resources help strengthen father-child relationships and support parents in building brighter futures for their families.

Thank you to all the fathers, grandfathers, mentors, and father figures who make a lasting difference every day. Happy Fatherhood Awareness Month! 📸: RivCo TV

Today is Election Day, and I encourage every eligible voter to make their voice heard.

One of the greatest privileges we have as Americans is the right to vote. No matter your party affiliation, your background, or who you choose to support, your participation matters. Elections are shaped by the people who show up, and every vote helps shape the future of our communities.

If you haven’t voted yet, I encourage you to take a few moments today to head to the polls and cast your ballot. This isn’t about who you vote for. It’s about exercising your right to vote and making sure your voice is part of the conversation.

Get out there, make your voice heard, and participate in the democratic process.

Cruising into summer in Lake Elsinore! 🚗

My team was excited to attend the Lake Elsinore Summer Nights Car Show Series kickoff on Historic Main Street, where community members came together to celebrate classic cars, custom builds, local businesses, and the unique spirit that makes Lake Elsinore such a special place.

Thank you to the Historic Lake Elsinore Downtown Merchants Association, the participants, and everyone who came out to make the evening a success.

The first annual Corona Symphony Orchestra Duck Drop fundraiser at The Shops at Dos Lagos was a fun way to support the arts in our community!

More than 2,500 rubber ducks took to the fountain as the Corona Fire Department helped kick off the big race. Community members gathered to cheer on their ducks for a chance to win cash prizes and other great giveaways, all while supporting the Corona Symphony Orchestra and its mission to bring music and arts education to our region.

Events like this are a great reminder that supporting the arts can bring people together in creative and memorable ways. Thank you to the Corona Symphony Orchestra, the Corona Fire Department, The Shops at Dos Lagos, and everyone who helped make this inaugural event such a success.

Access to the polls should not stand in your way of having your voice heard. RTA is offering free rides on local, CommuterLink, GoMicro and Dial-A-Ride buses for anyone needing a lift to vote in the statewide primary election.

On Tuesday, June 2, customers can board any RTA bus and tell the driver they are heading to the polls to vote or have just voted. For trips on Dial-A-Ride, customers should inform RTA that they are heading to or from the polls when they book their trip.

I was pleased to serve as the host for CAL FIRE/Riverside County Fire Department's Women in Fire Service event.

The program brought together aspiring firefighters, fire service professionals, and community members to learn about the many career pathways available in the fire service. Through panel discussions, keynote presentations, and recruitment resources, attendees had the opportunity to hear firsthand from women who are leading and serving at all levels of the profession.

Thank you to Chief Deputy Director of Operations A***e Burlew and Chief Deputy Director of Administration Kerry Garcia for sharing your experiences, leadership, and insights. Your stories provided valuable encouragement to those considering a future in public safety.

I also want to thank CAL FIRE/Riverside County Fire Department for organizing this important event and for their continued commitment to developing the next generation of firefighters and emergency responders.

A little sweetness goes a long way when celebrating a new business opening in our community.

My office was pleased to join the Eastvale Chamber for the Grand Opening and Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony of Nothing Bundt Cakes. It was wonderful to see community members, business leaders, and supporters come together to welcome this exciting new addition to the city.

There is something special about watching students return to the halls where their educational journey first began.

My office was honored to attend Luiseño School’s annual Senior Walk. This meaningful tradition welcomed graduating seniors back to their elementary school campus to celebrate their accomplishments and inspire the next generation of students. As seniors walked the halls in their caps and gowns, younger students had the opportunity to cheer them on and see firsthand what hard work, perseverance, and dedication can achieve.

Congratulations to all of the graduating seniors as you prepare for your next chapter. Your achievements are a testament to your hard work and the support of your family, teachers, and community. We wish you continued success in all that lies ahead.
