R**E IS NOT A JOKE! The trauma that many survivors go through is not, and never will be, funny. Making jokes about sexual assault will only continue to perpetuate r**e culture. We need to support survivors and become their allies in order to dismantle the harmful environment that r**e culture causes.

If you or someone you know are in need of any support, you are welcome to call our 24/7 crisis hotline, (951)686-7273.

It saddens us to see such a bright and thoughtful individual pass. Dr. Thornton was the first Black member and the first Black Woman on the RARCC board. Thank you to Dr. Thornton for her service and desire to give back to the community. We wish her family and loved ones well. Dr. Thornton’s family has set up a go fund me in support of her 12 year old daughter. The link can be found in our bio. The city of Moreno Valley will also be holding a memorial service, Friday Feb. 5th at 10am via the city’s facebook and youtube accounts, in her honor. Rest In Peace. ✨🦋🕊

Your trauma does not define you.
Read that again.
Healing is an ongoing process. It’s ok to accept what has happened in your past. It is ok to accept yourself as you are.
Don’t know where to start? ✨
Call the Riverside Area R**e Crisis Center 24/7 Hotline (951) 686-7273 for support.

Share and donate! ✨ Survivors deserve to feel safe and comfortable. SART Nurses do an amazing job at being kind to survivors while getting a SART exam. A survivor bags gives the survivor essentials to help them through a traumatic time. Please help by sharing or donating ✨
