In recognition of National Payroll Week, observed September 7–11, the Riverside County Auditor-Controller’s Office recognizes the employees who serve Riverside County and the payroll professionals who work behind the scenes to help ensure employees are paid accurately and on time.

Payroll plays an essential role in supporting the County workforce, requiring accuracy, consistency, and coordination every pay period.

“National Payroll Week gives us an opportunity to recognize both the employees who serve Riverside County every day and the payroll professionals who support them,” said Riverside County Auditor-Controller Ben J. Benoit.

Thank you to our Payroll Division for its continued commitment to serving Riverside County employees.

On the 25th anniversary of September 11, 2001, the Riverside County Auditor-Controller’s Office joins communities across the nation in remembering the nearly 3,000 lives lost and honoring the first responders, public servants, members of the armed forces, and civilians who responded with courage and selflessness that day and in the days that followed.

Twenty-five years later, we remember those who were lost, the families and communities forever affected, and all who answered the call to serve.

We remember. We reflect. We honor.

The Riverside County Auditor-Controller’s Office was proud to join residents, County departments, and community partners at last night’s Lakeland Village Town Hall.

We appreciated the opportunity to connect directly with the community, share information about the services and resources available through our office, and highlight the County’s Fraud, Waste, and Abuse Hotline as an important resource for promoting accountability and protecting public resources.

Events like this give us a valuable opportunity to listen, answer questions, build relationships, and strengthen the partnerships that help us better serve Riverside County.

Thank you to Supervisor Karen Spiegel and her team for bringing the community together, and to all of the County and community partners who participated. It was a pleasure spending the evening with the Lakeland Village community!

Good Government is strengthened when local government stays connected to the communities it serves.

Thank you to the Corona Chamber of Commerce, for hosting the Legislative Action Committee Meeting at Sizzler Family Steak House in Corona, CA and creating a space for civic and business leaders to discuss issues that matter to the local community.

Riverside County Auditor-Controller Ben J. Benoit appreciated the opportunity to participate as a featured speaker and connect with Chamber members, local business owners, residents, and community partners.

Conversations like this are an important part of public accountability. They give local government the opportunity to listen, share, and remain connected to the people it serves.

The Auditor-Controller’s Office remains focused on transparency, responsible financial stewardship, and service to the residents of Riverside County.

Thank you to everyone who took part in the conversation. Moments like this help strengthen public trust and remind us why staying connected matters.

Your county government runs on coordination. The Assessor-County Clerk-Recorder determines property values and maintains official records. The Auditor-Controller ensures every dollar is accounted for. The Treasurer-Tax Collector puts that tax bill in your hands and manages the funds once you pay it.
Three offices. One shared purpose: making sure Riverside County works for the people who live here.

Seeing the office transform for the holidays has been a highlight of the season for the Auditor-Controller's Office. The true joy of this project wasn't just in the lights and ornaments, but in the shared effort of our team.

It was inspiring to watch staff members come together to collaborate, lift each other up, and fill our workspace with genuine warmth. That sense of unity and friendship is what makes this time of year so meaningful.

Taking home the trophy for the RivCo Holiday Decorating Contest is an incredible honor, and we are so humbled by the recognition. We are proud to accept this award as a testament to our team coming together, smiling a little brighter, and celebrating the true spirit of Christmas right here in the office.

Thank you to everyone who participated and to the judges for seeing the love we poured into our displays. From our ACO family to yours, we wish you a season filled with warmth, joy, and togetherness.

This season, the Auditor Controller’s Office is proud to support the Children in Need program for Riverside University Health System. Our team came together to donate gifts that will bring comfort and joy to children facing serious medical challenges. This effort reflects our continued commitment to serving Riverside County not only through financial stewardship but through meaningful community outreach.

Auditor Controller Ben J. Benoit extends his gratitude to Juan, whose leadership and dedication were instrumental in coordinating this initiative and ensuring that every donation reaches a child who deserves hope and encouragement.

The ACO remains focused on strengthening the communities we proudly serve. Acts of service like this demonstrate how public agencies can come together to uplift residents and create a positive impact beyond daily operations.

Thank you to all who contributed, and thank you, Juan, for leading with heart and purpose.
