Small investments can make a big difference in a student's success!

Through CWC's partnership with Metallica's All Within My Hands Foundation, students in our CTE programs are getting the support and resources they need to succeed in the trades.

We're proud of our students and grateful for the opportunities the program continues to provide CWC students! 🤘

As we continue to celebrate , let’s meet Hunter, one of our training in Central Wyoming College's welding program!

Hunter is enthusiastically committed to gaining the technical skills needed for a career in the trades, but he faced an immediate barrier to success: the cost of required prescription safety glasses. Clear vision is essential in welding, where precision, depth perception, and attention to detail directly impact both safety and quality of work. Standard safety glasses compromised Hunter’s visibility and protection, raising safety concerns and limiting his ability to perform at his best.

Through CWC’s grant from , Hunter was able to purchase proper prescription safety glasses that met all required safety standards, ensuring he could work safely while maintaining clear, unobstructed vision. Once equipped with the appropriate protective eyewear, Hunter’s confidence and performance soared, allowing him to focus fully on learning welding techniques, producing higher-quality work, and engaging more effectively in hands-on training.

We’re so proud to support students like Hunter as they pursue their goals. Keep it up!
