A sunrise worth slowing down for. 🌅
Sea turtle tracks along the shoreline are a reminder that nesting season is in full swing on our beaches. As you enjoy the coast this summer, please remember to do your part to keep our beaches sea turtle safe by properly discarding fishing line, filling in holes, removing trash, knocking down sandcastles, and keeping lights off at night.
Every small action helps protect nesting mothers and hatchlings.

A reminder to our visitors and anglers that pier construction is scheduled to begin next week, June 1st, 2026. Material staging is also expected to begin on May 28th.
As of now, work is expected to begin on a portion of the “T” section of the pier, with only part of that area planned to be closed at a time.
We are working closely with the county and the construction team throughout this process and will continue sharing weekly updates as we receive them so you know what to expect before your visit.
We truly appreciate your patience and understanding as we move through this process.

Good news!👀
Construction on the pier refurbishment won’t officially begin onsite until June 1st. Starting May 1st, crews will be working offsite to prepare pallet assembly, so you can continue enjoying the space a little while longer before any on-site activity begins.
Stay tuned for more updates as we get closer, and be sure to follow along for the latest information 🌊
