The Salvation Army's New Day Center

The NDC is a community based drop-in center for youth ages 18-24 aging out of foster care, or who are homeless or at-risk of being s*x trafficked.

The NDC provides a safe, non-judgmental and consistent space for participants to receive wrap around supportive services. It is housed in The Salvation Army in Southeast and boasts a café (the Rusty spoon), recreational space (the Lazy Lounge), an educational suite (the Think Tank), locker rooms, laundry facility (Suds n Duds) and peer mentoring. Included will be a 24 hour hotline that service providers, including police, will have access to link youth with the services they need.
