π¨ Increased Fire Danger Today β Please Avoid Burning π¨
With todayβs gusty winds and very low humidity, conditions are prime for fires to start and spread rapidly across our area. Even a small spark can become a fast-moving wildfire under weather like this.
π₯ What to Know:
β’ Wind gusts could reach 25β35 mph
β’ Humidity dropping into the 30% range
β’ Dry leaves, brush, and fields will ignite and spread quickly
β
Burning is strongly discouraged today.
If you must burn, please use extreme caution and follow local burn regulations.
Letβs all do our part to keep our community safe. A single ember can travel a long distance on a day like today.
Stay alert, stay safe, and thank you for helping protect Callaway and our neighbors.
