To ease the return of jury questionnaires, starting on March 1st, all questionnaires will be pre-stamped so that there will be no additional cost to our citizens.
The Clerk of the Circuit Court is always assessing ways in which we can help the court system operate in the best and most efficient manner possible. We have recently equipped each circuit courtroom with hi-definition televisions (monitors) and associated hardware that will allow for the presentation of electronic evidence in a variety of ways. We have also equipped every courtroom with a wireless sound
system that is designed to assist our hearing-impaired visitors.
Should you have questions, or if you would like to learn more about the Clerk’s Office, we always
welcome a call or visit. You can contact us at 853-6700 from 8:15 AM to 4:45 PM Monday to Friday.

It is my honor to endorse and support the re-election of my friend and colleague, Tim Allen, as Roanoke City Sheriff.
I have known Tim for many years. In my tenure as Clerk of Circuit Court, Tim has always been willing to discuss all suggestions and concerns. Under Tim's leadership, the Sheriff's Department has reached and maintained the highest standard of public service. Tim Allen is a man of vision who has dedicated himself to a life of service for the benefit of his community. With a strong emphasis on training, education, and professionalism, Tim is prepared to continue to lead a Department of Excellence on behalf of the citizens of Roanoke City. Please join me in supporting Tim Allen, and vote for him to continue his work as the Sheriff of Roanoke City.
