We are so proud to be part of an amazing group of educators working to reimagine learning in the classroom!

Our new Future of High School Innovation story looks at three school systems that decided to redesign how students learn in the classroom and what happened when they did. In Indiana, Virginia, and Philadelphia, educators are rebuilding daily instruction around competency and transparency. In doing so, they are creating purpose and agency in their students, leading to positive results that show up in student trajectories.

Good luck to our BCAT representatives at SkillsUSA Nationals!!

Good luck to our BCAT students as they head to the SkillsUSA National Leadership & Skills Conference in Atlanta, Georgia!

These talented students will represent Virginia while competing in Masonry, Related Technical Math, and Nail Care against some of the best career and technical education students in the nation.

A special thank you goes to Mr. Robinson (Building Trades) and Mrs. Carroll (Cosmetology) for their dedication, leadership, and commitment to helping students reach this incredible opportunity.

We are proud of your hard work and accomplishments. Safe travels, and bring home some hardware! 🔨💅🏆

At Roanoke County Public Schools, a diploma should reflect who a student has become. For more than a decade, our C-Change Framework has guided us toward assessment systems that capture growth wherever it happens: in classrooms, on the job, in the community, and on the field.
We’re proud to be part of The Future of High Schools Network, where we’re learning alongside districts across the country how to make assessment a tool for student growth not a measure of compliance.
