Build your skills and get certified in hospitality at no cost! 🏨

Roanoke Valley - Alleghany Adult Education is offering a six-session certification series at the Community Empowerment Center for careers in lodging, retail, restaurants, healthcare, and more.

Sessions will prepare participants to take the American Hotel & Lodging Educational Institute (AHELI) Certified Guest Professional exam. Participants must attend all six sessions to have the opportunity to be certified.

Schedule update for dental services ONLY! 🦷

Children’s dental services from New Horizons Healthcare at the Community Empowerment Center have been rescheduled for Monday, September 21, and Wednesday, October 28. Appointments are available from 11 a.m.-4 p.m.

Please note that family medical services and requested behavioral/mental health consultations will still be available for Fourth Thursdays on September 24 and October 22.
