Check out the new ⭐Reservoir Levels Dashboard⭐ on the WVWA website. 💦 www.westernvawater.org/reservoirlevels
Updated daily, the interactive feature provides reservoir capacity and water levels for both Carvins Cove and Spring Hollow reservoirs. With decades of data on our reservoirs, the Authority is confident in our system's ability to continue supporting the region, even in dry conditions of little to no precipitation. ☔
Water Supply Projections are posted monthly in our board reports, which can be found on the WVWA website under Board of Directors.

Conditions are dry across the region, but our reservoirs are continuing to serve their intended purpose of storing water when precipitation is lacking. 🌧️
Although we are not under voluntary water restrictions at this time, we always encourage our customers to use water wisely. 🤓
Here are some ways you can use water wisely and lower your monthly bill: 💸
🌱 To avoid evaporation, water your garden during the cooler parts of the day (before 10am and after 7pm).
🐶 Before you dump out water from your pet’s bowl, consider using it to water your plants.
👕 Only run your washing machine and dishwasher when they are completely full.
Check out our website for more tips!
The water level at Carvins Cove, the Roanoke Valley's largest water source, would have to fall another two and a half feet by July 1 to trigger voluntary water conservation. ⤵️ Find a link to the story in the comments.
