From Shannon McDonald: 💙💛💜💚❤️

Memorial for my mother, Cynthia McDonald, will be held on Monday, November 23rd at the Zuhrah Shrine Center in Minnetonka. We're looking at a 4-6pm visitation. 6pm service. There will be food afterwards, a cash bar, and a chance to build a Bloody Mary to enjoy 1 more cocktail with my mom.

Obituary will be out within the next week.

Thank you all for supporting me and my family during this crazy time.❤️

Our members are thrilled to be volunteering at the Bird Bash for Seven Dreams Education Foundation in February! Come join us and support the amazing work this non-profit does for Robbinsdale Area Schools.

We know you won't want to miss out on our annual Bird Bash gala, so here is your official Save the Date!

It may seem odd to plan in 🎃October for an event in February ❄️, but we know how quickly time flies and how busy families in Robbinsdale Area Schools are, so we wanted to make sure everyone can put it on their calendar now!

This year's theme is 💃🏼Prom Through the Decades, so your assignment between now and then is to dust off your prom attire or have fun shopping for something new!

Be sure to follow our page so you don't miss additional information about this popular event, like a chance to score early-bird tickets!

Service Dogs are one of the main philanthropic focuses of the General Grand Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star. Minnesota Grand Chapter has designated Helping Paws, Inc. as the primary service dog organization we support.

Last month, a number of members from our chapter, as well as the state, attended the Helping Paws Tail Waggin’ Fundraising Gala. It was a beautiful evening spent hearing about the incredible work of Helping Paws. It also included fundraising for their continued efforts to breed, train and place service dogs with people who have physical disabilities as well as veterans.

Our local chapter is passionate about raising funds for this non-profit through a variety of efforts including our summer rummage sale and homemade dog treats at the holidays and during our state’s annual convention in May.
