Reminder

Graham County Schools would like to remind everyone that we will be conducting school lockdown and evacuation drills this week.

Drill schedule:
RES-Wednesday, October 21
RHS/RMS -Thursday, October 22.

The drills will begin around 9 AM and are expected to last approximately 1 to 2 hours.

During this time school buildings will not be accessible and school phones will not be available.

For everyones safety, no one will be permitted to enter school grounds or access the buildings and students will not be dismissed during the drills. If your child has a morning appointment or another commitment during these times, please make the necessary arrangements in advance, even if it means keeping them out until the drill is over

We are committed to doing everything within our power to keep our school safe and practicing our safety protocols is an important part of that commitment. Thank you for understanding and we appreciate your support.

Construction Update: Robbinsville Elementary School

Foundation work is moving right along and block work is coming soon!

Graham County Schools is currently experiencing an outage of internet services. We do not have access to computers or phones. If you need to dismiss your child, you will need to come to campus offices to pick them up. We apologize for this interruption.

The Robbinsville Middle School and High School Campus is currently being utilized as a landing zone for emergency medical services. There is no medical emergency on campus and all students and staff are safe. A helicopter is currently situated and expected to fly from the practice football field. We are glad to assist our community as a back up site when other landing zones are occupied.

Construction Update: Robbinsville Elementary School

A major milestone on-site today: the very first concrete was officially poured!

Crews have been working hard to prep the site, moving from initial ground excavation to laying heavy steel rebar reinforcement, leading up to today's crucial first pour for the building's structural foundation.

Here’s a look at some pictures from today's work.
