Local 3786 was proud to be a sponsor for another Robbinsville State of the Township Address and Pay it Forward Initiative. We are pleased to see all proceeds raised go towards expanding the Robbinsville Food Pantry. We appreciate the kind words of Mayor Todd regarding the continued investment into public safety, and the expansion of command staff within the fire department.

Our Local is eager to see the implementation of a layer of command supervision that promotes the operational efficiency of our task level personnel. This will fortify the ability of the company officers to focus directly on task personnel, while relinquishing command supervision and strategic oversight to the Battalion’s position. During the course of an incident, personnel will not only benefit from increased safety through focused company level supervision, but overall incident directives will be better managed resulting in a comprehensive improvement to our ability to handle the needs of the public. We commend the work of Chief Schaffener as well as our Mayor, and Council members in their support of advancing public safety in Robbinsville Township.

🚒FIREFIGHTER RECRUITMENT🚒

We are seeking committed individuals to assist our department in fulfilling our responsibilities to the citizens of Robbinsville Township and continuing our history of service to our growing community. Currently, we are conducting our Firefighter recruitment/examination process to establish a list for future hiring. As of this date there are no open Firefighter positions within the department. Several positions are anticipated to become available over the term of the established hiring list.
