**10pm Update: All residents have been restored. Apparent cause was animal contact on a pole along Route 130. If your power is still out, please call JCP&L to report it at 1-888-544-4877**

There is currently a significant power outage affecting Route 130 between Hankins Road and Meadowbrook Road, including Sharon Road, Gordon Road and several surrounding areas.

We have been in contact with JCP&L and their crews are now onsite investigating the cause. Once the issue is isolated on both circuits, crews will be able to make the necessary switching adjustments to restore power to affected residents.

We will continue to monitor the situation and share updates as more information becomes available.

One of the greatest things about Robbinsville is the way our community comes together to help those who need it most. Last night’s Pay it Forward event was a powerful reminder that behind every act of generosity is a neighbor who cares and a community that refuses to leave anyone behind.

I’m incredibly grateful to everyone who helped us raise more than $40,000 towards expanding the Robbinsville Food Pantry. This is about more than growing into a new space, it’s about making sure our neighbors and families have access to the food they need and the support they deserve.

Congratulations to Joyce and Gordon Thomas on receiving this year’s Pay it Forward Awards. Their years of dedication and compassion have made a tremendous difference in the lives of our neighbors.

Thank you to everyone who donated, sponsored and supported this effort and to former Mayor Dave Fried for creating a tradition that continues to bring out the best in our community. I’m proud to carry it forward and even prouder to serve a town filled with people who genuinely care about one another.

Robbinsville Public Schools is offering families who did not previously enroll in subscription busing an additional and final opportunity to participate for the 2026–2027 school year.

Subscription busing is available to students who are not eligible for District-provided transportation under established transportation guidelines. Families for whom subscription busing may apply received an email with a link to the Subscription Busing Interest Survey. The interest survey will allow the District to determine whether additional students can be accommodated based on available seats, existing routes, and transportation capacity. Families who receive the interest survey are encouraged to carefully review all information regarding eligibility, cost, payment requirements, and the commitment to participate before submitting the survey.

This is the final opportunity to enroll in subscription busing for the 2026–2027 school year. No additional enrollment period will be offered later in the school year. For more information, visit the district website at

Twenty-five years later, we continue to remember the nearly 3,000 innocent lives lost on September 11, 2001, along with the countless families, friends, first responders, military members and communities whose lives were forever changed.

In Robbinsville, we specifically remember resident Pamela Gaff, who was working on the 102nd floor of the south tower of the World Trade Center when the building was struck.

On this solemn anniversary, we honor the courage and sacrifice of the firefighters, police officers, EMTs and the many other first responders who ran toward danger to save others. We also remember the extraordinary acts of compassion and unity that emerged in the days and weeks that followed.

May we never forget those we lost, those who served and the enduring strength of the American spirit.
