🎃👻 Trunk-or-Treat Fun! 👻🎃

Our officers have had a busy few nights enjoying some Halloween fun with our community!

East Bay Worship Center hosted a wonderful Trunk-or-Treat at the PZK Hall, and the City of Robertsdale Library had a fantastic turnout last night!

🌶️🏆 We also have to give a special shoutout to Officer Powell, who took home 1st place out of 18 participants in the chili cook-off at East Bay’s Trunk-or-Treat! Way to go, Officer Powell!

We are so blessed to be part of such a wonderful community and grateful for every opportunity to get out, visit with families, and see all those smiling faces! 🧡

Thank you to everyone who helped make these events so special! 🎃🍬🚔

We want to recognize Robertsdale Police Officer Turberville for his dedication to the community he took an oath to serve. Replacing a basketball goal damaged by the storm. It’s acts of kindness like this that can make such a big difference. Thank you, Officer Turberville, for going above and beyond!

STORM UPDATE - 10/10/2026 - 0800 hours

Every department within the City of Robertsdale is assessing and working hard to return the city to normal. While the damage is light compared to our neighbors to the east, we sustained some isolated damage along our streets and highways as well as portions of our power grid. Some of our residents have sustained significant damage, please keep them in your thoughts and prayers.

We do have several traffic signals that are not functioning at this time. We ask people to please minimize travel. Our electrical crews are being significantly delayed by the vehicular and pedestrian traffic. Our electrical department is aware of the power outages and is working as fast as they can to restore the portions of the power grid that are experiencing the outages, however, the work that has to be completed is along the roadways. Thank you all for your cooperation and for allowing us to restore the city.

Good morning everyone. All of the City of Robertsdale departments including the police department continue to prepare for the inclement weather that is going to impact our City. We would like to provide more information concerning the response of road and utility emergency crews ahead of the storm.

Robertsdale Public Works and Utilities will be available to address issues such as power outages, road hazards, downed lines, etc., as long as weather permits. Once the weather begins to deteriorate and conditions become too dangerous for our crews to be out, those services will cease until conditions allow our personnel to safely address any issues, sometime Saturday.

The Robertsdale Police Department will continuously assess conditions throughout the city and provide a coordinated response as things arise.

While we hope the storm center continues to move eastward, we still expect impacts to the City. We ask that you stay off of the roadways this evening and tomorrow to allow for utility and street department personnel to safely and efficiently get things restored. Please be patient as crews assess the situations following the storm and the challenges it may bring. We have to divert resources when people move about our roadways and it significantly delays the timeline of our utilities being restored and our roadways being cleared.

We ask that you remain indoors during the storm. Stay off the roadways and do not drive through flooded areas.

If you have a non-emergency you can call the police department at 251-947-2222. All emergencies call 911.

Be prepared, stay weather aware and most importantly, stay safe everyone.

To ensure our staff’s safety and allow them to prepare for the storm, the Police Department administrative offices will be closed tomorrow, Friday, October 9, 2026. We will resume normal business hours on Monday, October 12, 2026.

As we prepare for the approaching storm, Isaias, we are working closely with the Baldwin County Emergency Management Agency to monitor its path.

With this type of storm, a large area of power outages can be expected. To help prepare for such an event, please charge cell phones, portable chargers, flashlights and other essential devices. Have several days of water, non-perishable foods, medications, batteries, and other necessary supplies on hand.

Take steps now in securing outdoor furniture, decorations, garbage cans and other items that could become dangerous in high winds. Also, make sure vehicles are fueled sooner than later and know your evacuation route should an evacuation become necessary.

Please remember during this type of storm, first responders may be dealing with a high volume of calls, hazardous road conditions, flooding, possible tornadoes, fallen trees, and downed power lines. Making safe decisions helps protect not only you and your family, but also the first responders serving our city.

We encourage everyone to stay weather-aware, monitor your local weather sources and take steps now to protect your family, pets and property. We will continue to update our page with information as necessary.
