🚨 Want to directly make a Robinson home safer?

Help us purchase smoke alarms for Operation Safe and Sound.

We're asking residents, businesses, and community partners to help us put working smoke alarms into homes that need them.

You donate. We purchase the alarms. Our firefighters help get them into homes.

Small donations add up to a big impact when a smoke alarm is there when a family needs it most.

A big thank you to the Waco-McLennan County OEM team for teaching and leading the Texas Department of Emergency Management (TDEM) G-300 Intermediate Incident Command System (ICS) course over the weekend!

Hosted at , the class brought together a combination of fire and law enforcement personnel from across McLennan and Bosque counties to learn, collaborate, and strengthen our ability to work together during emergency incidents. Three RVFD personnel participated in the training.

We appreciate the time, knowledge, and experience shared by our amazing instructors, Ryan Dirker, Tim Jeske, and Boyce Wilson, as well as everyone who took the time to attend. Training together helps build stronger partnerships, improve coordination, and better prepare us to serve our communities when it matters most.

Thank you to everyone involved for making it a great weekend of learning!

πŸŽ“πŸš’ Congratulations to Fire Chief, Stephen Sullivan!

Today, Chief Sullivan graduated from the Texas Fire Chiefs Association’s Texas Fire Chiefs Academy, earning the Certified Fire Executive (CFE) professional designation!

Completing this two-part program takes a substantial commitment of time and effort. Requirements include advance assignments such as a research paper, a budget request justification, and a presentation, along with intensive academy sessions. This week’s schedule included full days of required instruction Monday through Thursday, followed by final instruction and graduation today in San Marcos.

Behind this accomplishment are hours of preparation, study, and time away from home, all while continuing to meet the responsibilities of leading a volunteer fire department. Chief Sullivan’s commitment to furthering his education is an investment in our firefighters, our department, and the community we serve.

Please join us in congratulating Chief Sullivan on this achievement! Thank you, Chief, for your leadership and dedication to Robinson Volunteer Fire Department! πŸ‘
