Past Mayor Bert Echterling Former mayor of Robinson (2015-2024) I’m Bert Echterling, your dedicated Mayor of Robinson—proudly the best town in Texas.

With a deep commitment to conservative values and a passion for community growth, my mission is to ensure Robinson continues to thrive and lead. My professional journey spans 28 years in the real estate industry, where I've honed my skills as a homebuilder and real estate developer. Over the years, I’ve developed both residential and commercial properties and earned my real estate license, all of which I now bring to my role as your mayor. This experience equips me with unique insights into attracting new businesses and fostering development that aligns with our community's vision. I am constantly learning from other cities and governments to enhance my leadership and bring fresh, effective strategies to Robinson. My goal is to apply these insights to create innovative plans that secure a prosperous future for our town. Thank you for your support and engagement. Together, we can build on our town’s strengths and shape a vibrant future for Robinson. Feel free to connect with me here for updates, events, and to share your thoughts. Let's continue working together to make Robinson the best it can be!

I am not opposed to Flock cameras, BUT I am opposed to how they are setup, managed, and the guidelines in which they operate. The technology is new but the idea of "arbitruary" searches goes all the back to our founding fathers - hence the 4th amendment. We should not only voice our opinions at council meetings but should also try to supply options. Hoping this presentation goes thru onto this post. I do not believe this should be a city of Robinson, or any city for that matter, discussion. The state should take this up and make state-wide policy.

Thought for the day… There’s a lot we can be. Being kind is one of the easiest. Spread some kindness today

When I originally said I don’t go to Facebook to get my information, what I’m reading now is exactly why. It can turn into a sewer really quickly. Social media is a great way to show this or that but not negatively. I am seeing support that is humbling and appreciated from people I don’t know well or much at all. I am asking all residents to please stop any and all attacks on candidates. Robinson is much better than this. We can point out what we think is good for our town and how we might do things different then let the cards fall. I’m so ready for this election to be over- I bet my opponent is as well. I don’t think either one of us are “bad guys”. We just have an urge to serve. We may differ on some subjects but hopefully in the end those differences aren’t radical like so much in our country today.

Please- let’s all bring Robinson together in a positive manner rather than the fighting back and forth. Let’s all work together to better our town.

Today is a 1st for Robinson as I accepted a statewide award from the Texas Economic Development Council. This award is a result of great relationships with other entities including McLennan County, The Greater Waco Chamber, The Waco Industrial Foundation, and the City of Waco. This award shows Robinson’s commitment to fostering important relationships and coming together to make great things happen such as landing the Walmart milk processing center. This showcases the working relationships I’ve been fostering in the background. Relationships are key to our growth!! This is not one person’s award…credit is shared with all of the entities; Kris Collins; and Craig Lemin for their tireless efforts working to better our city and region.

This is one of my proudest moments for our town! It solidifies our efforts as a national player for major business. We are currently courting other potential suitors which I look forward to the great growth and seeing the positive change in Robinson!!

Welcome to the limelight! It is now time for us to exhibit great character and resolve. I am asking you for two more years. Let’s continue together in making lasting change in our great town.
