This post has been a long time coming, I just never knew exactly what to say😕...I still really don't 🤷🏽‍♀️

I am not sure if you all are aware l, but in June 2024, I had another bad accident, where I fell 40ft down a ravine in Pittsburgh. This resulted in a C6 Burst spinal injury. I immediately had surgery where 2 metal rods and a metal cage were placed in my neck to stabilize my spine. I am blessed to be here to tell my story, and even more blessed to be able to walk. However it has caused severe pain and weakness, so I am struggling a little bit more than before, but I am working towards improvement and will be back serving crunch wraps in no time!!

So as most of you know, we did close down. We didn't have much of an option, mostly because the RGE (gas & electric) increased exponentially! But there were other factors as well. Tameesha and I tried our best, but in the end, the paperwork and taxes got the best of us. Along with my health issues that made it difficult to do many things, we decided it would be best to close our doors.

However, I wanted to say thank you to everyone who came into Phat Girl Foods, ordered from us, or just followed us on social media. You all are amazing and we appreciate every single one of you.

We are still doing catering and occasional dinners, if you would like to place an order just shoot me a message on my personal DM, Julia Resto . We hope to work towards a food truck or trailer in the near future if my health allows. I will post and try to stay active on here as I continue with my therapy and healing. Keep us in your thoughts and prayers and we will be back faster, and better than ever!
