Imagination Playground Annual Walk-a-Thon Imagination Playground Inc. is seeking funding to build the first fully inclusive community playground in Monroe County, NY that creates an equitable play space where all children can play, learn, and explore together. 𝗛𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗻𝗼𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗿𝗲𝗰𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝘁 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝘆𝗴𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱!?!

🌟 We are finally able to use some of the money that we have raised to start working on our existing playground. The 𝙏𝙤𝙬𝙣 𝙤𝙛 𝙂𝙖𝙩𝙚𝙨 was kind enough to donate their equipment and staff last week to help us with the demolition part. 𝓣𝓱𝓪𝓷𝓴 𝓨𝓸𝓾!

🌟 We have removed all of the outside pieces that are not attached to the main structure of the playground. The company Play By Design will be coming soon to make 𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗯𝗲𝗹𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗱 𝗰𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗹𝗲 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲, including repairs, sanding and sealing, adding plastic decking, and refilling with Engineered Wood Fiber for safety surfacing. We are hoping to have this phase of the renovation completed by June.

While we wait for Play By Design to do their part, the children will still be able to use the playground.
