The POA Library

The collection is especially strong in astrophysics, biophysics, condensed matter, nuclear and high energy physics, optics and quantum mechanics. The library houses a growing History of Optics collection. We subscribe to 225 journals and provide access to more than 10,000 electronic journals. POA Library has four public workstations connected to a black and white/color printer, and also a public copier . The printer and copier work with copy cards only. University of Rochester students with flex accounts can use their ID's to make copies. Visitor cards may be purchased at machines located at the Carlson and Rush Rhees circulation desks and at the ITS Center on the ground floor of Rush Rhees Library.
