🎭 Congratulations to OPC’s 650 Players on another incredible show! 🎭

Today, the cast took the stage for their final performance of Villainy at the Vineyard, a delightfully wicked musical mystery filled with laughter, intrigue, memorable characters, and the unforgettable magic of live theater and audience participation!

After months of hard work, dedication, and preparation, the cast and crew truly brought this production to life. It was wonderful to see audiences travel from hours away—some arriving by the busload—to enjoy this fantastic performance! 👏

A heartfelt thank you to the 650 Players, the staff, our amazing volunteers, and everyone who came out to support the show. Your time, talent, and enthusiasm made this production such a success!

Memory Cafe offers a warm, welcoming space for individuals living with memory loss and their care partners to connect, build friendships and enjoy time together in a supportive community.

Through art and music, participants have opportunities to express themselves creatively, enjoy familiar experiences, spark meaningful memories, and connect with others in new ways. Each month we rotate creative art and music activities to help bring joy and comfort to those who attend. Memory Cafe is a free activity, open to the public with light refreshments provided.

There’s always something to do at OPC! Here’s a quick look at just some of whats been happening this week. From monthly programs like Terrific Tuesday and Veteran’s Connection to special visits from the Rochester Chamber leadership group and opening day of the Fall show, the upper level has been busy! The lower level was just as energized playing pickleball, table tennis, swimming and aerobics. As we always say, there’s something for everyone at OPC! Stop in and see for yourself.

Caregiver Workshop: Walking the Path of Dementia 💜

OPC – 650 Letica Drive, Rochester

Join us for a complimentary, hands-on, immersive experience designed to help caregivers better understand the journey of dementia. This interactive workshop is led by Arden Courts Memory Care.

Guest Speaker: Todd Bott from the Alzheimer’s Association Michigan Chapter will begin the evening with a brief discussion on memory loss.

It’s Transit Tuesday - welcome to Part 2 of the Oakland County Transit series with Commissioner Brendan Johnson!

🚐 Paratransit helps residents get from their homes to appointments, activities, the grocery store and more. In Oakland County, riders book with local providers — WOTA - Western Oakland Transportation Authority , North Oakland Transportation Authority (NOTA), OPC Social & Activity Center and People’s Express — to get where they need to go.
