Today starts Fire Prevention Week nation wide. This years focus is on Lithium Ion Battery Safety. Check back in through the week for tips on how to safely charge all your battery operated devices.

Although fire prevention “week” is this week RFD has a pretty full schedule through the entire month hosting schools and other organizations to teach fire safety. If you would need assistance with smoke detectors we will be out to you at our earliest connivence.

Deadline for donations is tomorrow! We have had so many new donors this year. Find a firefighter and ask for a donor form or stop at the station. Thanks again for all the support for this great program!

Due to potential Extreme Weather forecasted for this evening, CPR class at Rochester Fire will be postponed to next Wednesday evening June 24 starting at 6pm.

LANE CLOSURE - State Road 25 in Fulton County

State Road 25 will be reduced to one lane between C.R. 300 N and C.R. 375 N beginning on or after Monday, June 15 through mid-July for a small structure pipe lining project at McMahan Ditch. Temporary traffic signals will be installed to direct traffic.
