Monroe County’s Walk + Roll Child Safety Education Program wants to hear from parents and caregivers! Share your experiences, concerns, and ideas about child pedestrian and bicycle safety by completing a short Caregiver/Guardian Survey.

Your feedback can help inform efforts to make walking, biking, and rolling safer for children and families throughout our community. 💙

The Office of Violence Prevention, in conjunction with Blues5LLC, is hosting a Community Coat Give Away. Coats and winter garments will be available FREE to the public while supplies last.

The City of Rochester is offering a variety of fun, safe and family-friendly Halloween activities for children and families throughout the city!

From costume karaoke and crafts to Trunk or Treat, Halloween at the Market, spooky stories, the Edgerton Haunted House and more, there are plenty of ways to celebrate this Halloween season. 🧡🖤

📅 Events run Oct. 22–31
📍 R-Centers, Rochester Public Library locations, the Rochester Public Market, Maplewood Nature Center & more
🎟️ Most activities are FREE!

Some highlights include:
🎤 Family-Friendly Costume Karaoke
🎃 Halloween at the Market
🏚️ Edgerton Haunted House – Oct. 27 & 28
🍭 Trunk or Treat at Adams R-Center – Oct. 29
🦉 Creatures of the Night at Maplewood Nature Center – Oct. 31

Families are also encouraged to celebrate safely while trick-or-treating by staying visible, using sidewalks and crosswalks, and watching carefully for vehicles. 🔦🍬
