Our commitment to FPGROC staff is just as strong as our commitment to the families we walk alongside.
Staff wellness provides the endurance needed to navigate the housing climate in our nation and in our Rochester community.
With that in mind, we share that Second Saturday will be discontinued at this time.
We are so grateful to everyone who has shown up to lend a helping hand!

Our Transitional Housing Program is critical to combating the growing housing crisis in our community, where just 3.5 affordable rental units are available for every TEN households living at or below extremely low income.
Our transitional apartments include those on the second floor of our building at 142 Webster and two additional buildings FPGROC purchased from , kicking off a meaningful partnership.
Together these properties will be transformed to ELEVEN welcoming, safe and dignified apartments—six of which have families already settled in.
Our Transitional Housing Program is unique in that rent is set below market rates, will be sustained as “affordable” in perpetuity, and FORTY PERCENT of the monthly rent is placed in escrow over 2 years for families when they move!
Your gift on Giving Day, April 22nd, will support the Transitional Housing Program—from cosmetic and structural updates to the apartments to ongoing management and support.
Stay tuned for a link to donate on Tuesday!
