Gates Firefighters IAFF Local 3792

Over the past couple of months, FF Kirchner and President Statt have worked with the shop class led by Mr. Starbird at Gates Chili High School to build a boot box. This box is a way to collect money for a charity of our choice. There will be an embroidered tag on the front to tell you what charity we are raising money for. Lately, the union has been collecting money to the Make-a-Wish foundation of Western NY. This boot box will be at stores around town, so if you have some spare change, please feel free to donate it to a great cause!!

🚨 Structure Fire - Second alarm 🔔 🔔 🚨

Companies are currently operating at the scene of a working structure fire in the 700 Blk of Westside Drive. Battalion chief 4c35 arrived on scene with smoke showing from a 2 story multi family residential. Truck 4510 further reported fire on the second floor and attic. Command has requested a second alarm assignment. Please avoid the area.

Last night Truck 4510 responded to the scene and assisted our brothers and sisters of the Rochester Fire Department at this multiple alarm warehouse fire. Crews worked for multiple hours throughout the night to contain this significant fire. Great work by all agencies involved.

​This past Sunday and Monday, members of IAFF Local 3792 swapped their turnout gear for golf clubs to support the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation (NFFF).
​It was a great two days out on the green, but more importantly, it was an honor to help raise funds for an organization that does so much for the families of our fallen brothers and sisters. We hit some great shots, endured a few rough ones, but every swing was dedicated to honoring the ultimate sacrifice made by heroes across the country.
​A huge thank you to everyone who organized, volunteered, and played. Together, we’re making sure our fallen heroes are never forgotten, and their families are always supported.
