​As we step into June, we observe PTSD Awareness Month. It is a vital time to bring a crucial message to the forefront, especially for our military and veteran community...It’s okay to not be okay. 💔➡️❤️
​The battles don't always end when the uniform comes off. Invisible wounds are just as real, just as heavy, and deserve the exact same care and respect as any physical injury. Carrying the weight alone isn't a sign of strength...reaching out is.
​🚨 Time for a Battle Buddy Check!
​Don't wait for someone to ask for help. Today, take a moment to:
✔️​Reach out to a fellow veteran or service member. 📞
✔️​Check in with an honest, "How are you really doing?" 💬
✔️​Listen without judgment. 👂
​A simple text, phone call, or coffee catch-up can truly save a life. Let’s make sure none of our brothers or sisters feel isolated in their foxhole!!
