āš” Power Outage Update: Power Fully Restored

RPU crews responded to a power outage late Monday evening, Oct. 12, affecting approximately 7,000 customers.

The outage began around 11:52 p.m. following an equipment failure at our Cascade Creek substation. The failure caused an electrical arc that produced a loud noise and damaged nearby equipment.

RPU crews worked overnight to restore service by transferring affected customers to another electrical feeder. Some customers may have experienced a brief interruption in service during this process.

āœ… Power was fully restored to all affected customers by 4:30 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 13.

Thank you for your patience and understanding as we worked to safely restore power.
