🔥 CONTROLLED BURN REMINDER 🔥

As we enter the season when controlled burns are more common, Atchison County 911 would like to remind residents to report all controlled burns in the area.

📞 Call the Non-Emergency Line:
660-744-6606
When prompted, press 1 to speak with a dispatcher and provide the location of your controlled burn.

📱 You can also TEXT 911 from your mobile device to report a controlled burn. Please include the location of the burn, your name, and any other helpful information for dispatchers.

Reporting controlled burns helps our dispatchers and emergency responders know what is happening in the area and can help prevent unnecessary emergency responses when smoke or flames are observed.

🔥 Before you burn make that call or send a text!

Your quick notification helps keep our community and first responders informed.
