Our team provides referrals to supportive services that strengthen each person’s journey — whether it’s housing stability, employment resources, parenting support, or tools that help families feel steady again. When people know they’re not alone, those small steps turn into lifelong achievements.

Grandparents are storytellers, protectors, and anchors, and for many families, they are also the ones stepping in when life gets hard.
On Grandparents Day, we honor not only traditional grandparents but also the kinship caregivers who open their hearts and homes to children in need.

Sweetwater Family Resource Center proudly partners with programs like Kinship Connections of Wyoming (kcowyo.org) to ensure caregivers have access to support, resources, and community.

On this 25th anniversary of 9/11, we pause to remember not only the lives lost and the heroes who answered the call, but also the profound sense of togetherness that followed.

In those days, differences faded as people reached out to help one another. Strangers became neighbors, and communities stood shoulder to shoulder in shared grief and hope.

We wish we could return to that feeling of unity, empathy, and collective strength, with the reminder that we are at our best when we care for each other.

We remember. We honor. We stand united. 🇺🇸

💡 Utilities aren’t luxuries; they’re the foundation of a safe, healthy home.

Sweetwater Family Resource Center knows that when electricity, heat, and water stay connected, children thrive and parents can focus on moving forward.

If your household is struggling with winter heating costs, Wyoming’s Low Income Energy Assistance Program (LIEAP) may be able to help. Eligible families can receive support with:

*Monthly heating bills (natural gas, electricity, propane, wood, coal, and more)

*Emergency heating crises like shut‑off notices, broken furnaces, or running out of fuel

*Weatherization services to improve long‑term home efficiency

LIEAP is available to Wyoming residents including homeowners, renters, and residents of permanently parked RVs or campers beginning 10/1/2026.

Thank you to United Way of Southwest Wyoming for supporting early literacy efforts right here at home, and to Dolly Parton's Imagination Library for ensuring children in Sweetwater County have beautiful books to grow up with.
